Construction of Hydro-Power Plants Plave 2 and Doblar 2 on the Soča river

At the turn of the millennium construction of two new Hydro-Power Plants on the Soča river was the biggest Slovenian investment in electricity generation from renewable energy sources. In the scope of this project Rudis realized designing, supply and assembly of hydro-mechanical equipment on ‘turnkey principle’. The installed power of the Hydro-Power Plant Plave 2 is 20 MW and 40 MW of the Hydro-Power Plant Doblar 2.

Designing and construction on ‘turnkey principle’: supply and assembly of turbines, generators and excitation system, elaboration of technical documentation, equipment fabrication, supply and assembly, training of the Employer’s staff, commissioning, performance tests and trial run.
