In april 2026, contract for »Execution of 2nd overhaul at PSHPP Avče generating unit« was signed

Contract for »Execution of 2nd overhaul at PSHPP Avče generating unit« was signed in april 2026 by the main contractor Hitachi Mitsubishi Hydro Corporation, Tokio and Rudis d.o.o. Trbovlje as its subcontractor for the end client Soške elektrarne Nova Gorica, d.o.o.

The purpose of the overhaul is to carry out preventive maintenance measures, including the replacement of worn components and elimination of identified defects and deficiencies, in order to maintain the equipment's functionality, reliability, and operational safety until the next scheduled overhaul.

The work is scheduled to commence in October 2027, with completion planned in May 2028.
