In December 2020 Rudis signed a first contract to build a flue gas desulfurization plant in Karnataka district, India
RUDIS has a long-term cooperation agreement with local partner Shapoorji Pallonji And Company Private Limited in the field of construction of flue gas desulphurization plants.
Contract for the construction of a flue gas desulphurization plant for two Units in the Yeramarus Thermal Power Plant includes the turnkey construction of two flue gas cleaning systems (for Unit 1 and 2, each of 800 MW) with auxiliary facilities and handing over to the investor a fully working device, in accordance with contractually guaranteed technological parameters. The contractual scope of the local partner also includes 3-year operation and maintenance of the device.
On the Indian market RUDIS acts as a technology holder, so called Qualified FGD Manufacturer (QFGDM), offering basic engineering, installation supervision, emission monitoring, supervision of commissioning and trial operation of the plant, as well as training of the operating staff. From deliveries key measurement equipment and control system (hardware and software) are delivered only. All other supplies and services are within the scope of the local partner acting as an EPC contractor.
