Construction of the Flue Gas Desulphurization Plant at 345 MW Unit 5 in the Šoštanj Thermal Power Plant
In the year 1997 Rudis jointly with the German partner Deutsche Babcock Anlagen GmbH signed the Contract for construction of the Flue Gas Desulphurization Plant at Unit 5 in the Šoštanj Thermal Power Plant.
It is the second Flue Gas Desulphurization Plant in Slovenia. The plant has been operating on the principle of sulphur dioxide elimination by means of wet calcite process.
