Designing and construction of the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in the Municipality of Zagorje ob Savi – Lot 1
The new central waste water treatment plant will ensure a lower environmental burden and consequently a cleaner and brighter future for all inhabitants of the wider area of the Municipality Zagorje
Description of the contractual scope:
- Designing of the WWTP Zagorje, elaboration of the project documentation of Conceptual Design (IDZ), Building Permit Documentation (PGD), Design Documentation (PZI) and As-built Documentation (PID), including arrangement and acquisition of easement on lands, geologic and geodetic surveys and reports, obtainment of consents from consent authorities and building permit obtainment;
- Implementation of the WWTP Zagorje: Execution of construction-finishing works and landscaping; Supply and erection of mechanical-technological part, Supply and installing of electrical installations; Production of the Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition system – SCADA, Carrying out the procedure and obtainment of the Decision on trial run and on performance of the first measurements of the operating monitoring;
- Implementation of the 9-months trial run, including the Employer’s staff training;
- Obtainment of the operating permit for the WWTP.

Plant capacity: 11,000 PU
Treatment technology: Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR)
Maximum inlet/flow into the Plant: 380 m3/h
Dehydration capacity: 15 m3/h
Parameters on the input side of the Plant:
- Chemical oxygen demand (COD) 520.6 mg/l
- Biological oxygen demand (BOD) 260.3 mg/l
- Dry substance 303.4 mg/l
- Total nitrogen 47.67 mg/l
- Total phosphorus 8.67 mg/l
