RUDIS is carrying out overhaul works on three power plants in Posočje
The company RUDIS signed a contract with the Employer Soške elektrarne Nova Gorica d.o.o. for refurbishment of small HPP Podselo and contract to perform overhaul in HPP Doblar 2 and small HPP Plužna
By increasing the share of distributed renewable energy sources (particularly sun and wind energy), planning the flexibility in generation and consumption of electrical energy is becoming increasingly more important.
Hydro power plants are an important part in ensuring uninterruptible power supply of consumers in the Republic of Slovenia.
Refurbishment works in HPP Podselo include supply of new unit with Kaplan turbine, suction pipe and asynchronous generator, supply and installation of piping and horizontal discharge with accompanying civil works, installation of power cabinets and reconstruction of existing hydraulic unit and intake grate.
Works are in full swing, deadline for completion of all works is in the first quarter of 2022.
In HPP Doblar 2, the unit has been in operation since 2001. Regular annual revisions were performed on the unit, overhaul of the unit has not been carried out. Overhaul, to be performed by RUDIS, includes determining the status of equipment, checking the operation acc. to specifications, elimination of any possible defects and ensuring further safe and reliable operation of the power plant.
Small HPP Plužna is a diversion power plant. Overhaul of generator in power plant includes dismantling the generator and execution of maintenance works on the stator and rotor, supply of new bearing segments, installation of generator after performed refurbishment works and commissioning.
Works will be completed by September of this year.
