RUDIS signed a contract for ventilation station NOP II in the Velenje Coal Mine
Rudis is cooperating with renowned manufacturer and supplier of fans TLT-Turbo GmbH, Germany on execution of the project
The new ventilation system mine will allow shorter air paths, exhaust of contaminated air on location away from urban areas, as well as maintained ventilation system until the end of mining, as well as when closing the mine shaft.
RUDIS signed a contract with the client the Velenje Coal Mine for execution of the project Ventilation station NOP II. Ventilation station will be connected to the NOP II shaft entrance, measuring 9 m in diameter with two parallel centrifugal fans. Diameter of both fans exceeds 3 meters.
Selected technical solution and aerodynamic fan design allows the smallest possible pressure loss and thus the highest system efficiency and yield of fans.
Rudis contract works include design, supply and installation of ventilation station, training of employer’s staff and start-up.
Contract works will be completed in June 2023.
