Rudis signed the contract for reconstruction and new construction of the school in Dol

In the settlement Dol pri Hrastniku, rooms of the branch of the elementary with a 9 year programme in the scope of the existing building and its belonging plot will be arranged. The works consist of renovating the building of the National Hero Rajko Elementary School in Dol pri Hrastnik and arrangement of the new ground floor entrance lobby on the outdoor courtyard between the school and sports hall. The existing school is divided into two L-shaped wings.   The main part – west wing is placed by the Planinska road, the north wing is connected to it perpendicularly. The demolition of the facility down to foundations will be executed on the north wing (i.e. new part), except for the main staircase and a new construction with ground floor concrete storey and a timber structure for the remaining floors will be executed on these foundations. For the main wing (i.e. old part), reconstruction of the ground floor will be executed, as well as of the 1st and 2nd floor, the 3rd floor and the roof will be removed and replaced by the timber structure.

The fact that the existing facility is not additionally loaded with bigger loads and the fact about quicker precast construction both contributed to deciding on a timber structure.   All works have to be finished until the start of the school year 2018/2019. The Tender price for the execution of works amounts to 2,986,173.41 EUR. The municipality Hrastnik submitted this project to the Public tender to co-finance energy renovation of buildings owned and used by municipalities in the years 2017 and 2018, which was published by the Ministry of infrastructure.
