Rudis undertook construction of auxiliary systems of Unit 6

Numerous successfully completed reference projects enabled Rudis to be awarded also the Contract for construction of auxiliary systems of the new 600 MW Unit in the Šoštanj Thermal Power Plant. Works will be carried our according to the »turnkey« principle and will be completed and handed over to the Employer in the half-year 2015. And construction of the Flue Gas Desulphurization Plant and Cooling System of the Unit 6 is in full swing.

Quality and reliability of implementation of projects represent the basis of confidence and the reason for new orders.

The facilities for residues preparation and transport will be located on the north side of the Unit. Works include construction of the fly ash pneumatic transport, gypsum dewatering by belt filters, fly ash and gypsum mixing plant, mixture transport by pipe conveyors, fly ash and gypsum storage, and slag treatment. Slag, fly ash and gypsum mixture will be transported to the existing depot by a pipe belt conveyor. At construction of the aforementioned auxiliary systems the  state-of-the-art technologies and know-how in the field of residues preparation and transport will be applied.
