SIGNED CONTRACT FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF HPP FORMIN AND THE MARKOVCI DAM
Contract for the project »Reconstruction of HPP Formin and the Markovci dam« was signed at the beginning of July 2025, which includes supply and installation of turbine, generator and MV equipment – Lot TG
The Client Dravske elektrarne Maribor d.o.o. will ensure reliable, safe and uninterrupted operation of the hydropower plant for the next 40 years with this reconstruction and consequently increase production and operational flexibility of the power plant.
The main contractor is Andritz Hydro GmbH Austria, which is also the manufacturer and supplier of the main equipment – two turbines and two generators and Rudis d.o.o. Trbovlje acts as the nominated subcontractor.
Rudis d.o.o. Trbovlje will prepare design documents for auxiliary systems, remove existing equipment, installation of new turbine and generator, supply and installation of auxiliary mechanical and electrical equipment, organization and site management and supervisory management over removal and installation of equipment in the scope of the entire project.
Works on site will start in July 2027.
Planned completion of contract works: February 2029.
