Successful synchronization of Unit A1 of the HPP Doblar I with 110 kV network
On January 09th, 2014 RUDIS jointly with the Employer SENG d.o.o. Nova Gorica successfully implemented synchronization of the last, third Unit A1, with the electric power network.
Successfully performed synchronization will be followed by functional tests on the network which will take place until the end of January. Upon synchronization the Unit was in the operation function. All tests of electric protections and discharge of the Unit were carried out. Other tests of the loaded Unit and special modes of operation, such as achievement of the maximum power, are going on in these days. Reconstruction of the 75-years old Power Plant, in addition to renovation of three Units with all appurtenant equipment, includes also renovation of the majority of equipment of the system of 20 kV switchyard, self-consumption,
AC and DC voltage, Power Plant drainage, cooling water, renovation of ventilation and heating system, lighting and LV systems, fire detection system and machine room rehabilitation. Successfully realized synchronization of Unit A1 represents the end of an important phase of reconstruction of the HPP Doblar I which has been going on since 2009. Synchronization of the Unit A2 was carried out on November 9th, 2012, and of the Unit A3 on August 23rd, 2011. Commencement of the trial run in factory is planned for February.
