Solemn Ceremony of Opening Hydro-Power Plant Doblar 1 was hold on 18th November 2014
HPP Doblar 1 is an accumulation-derivation Hydro-Power Plant, which is jointly with the HPP Doblar 2 in operation depending on availability of the Soča flows, also in peak operation, with the possibility of flow levelling in the Podselo dam. Rudis has signed with the investor Soške elektrarne Nova Gorica the contract for the reconstruction of HPP Doblar 1 in September 2009. Reconstruction was performed successively per individual Units, which at replacement of one Unit permitted untroubled operating of the other two and thus electrical energy generating.
Today, in the framework of system Doblar, operate three aggregates with Francis turbines. The installed electrical capacity of HPP Doblar 1 is 30 MW. After through renovation nowadays the Hydro-power Plant Doblar 1 is properly adopted to the conditions of the electricity market.
