OUR OWN SOLAR POWER PLANT, UPGRADE WITH BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM, OUR FIRST OWN WIND POWER PLANT AND IMPORTANT REFERENCE IN CONSTRUCTING PUMPED-STORAGE HYDROPOWER PLANT (PSP)

 

In 2022 we successfully built our first own solar power plant with power 1,5 MW (p) and connected it to the power grid. Solar power plant Blate has ground-mounted panels that annually produce approximately 1.670 MWh of electrical energy, which is fully transmitted to the electrical distribution network.

 

In 2024 we retrofitted a battery energy storage system with power 1,6 MW and capacity 3 MWh to the solar power Blate, which increased the flexibility and stability of the system and improved the economics of the power plant's operation.

 

In 2023 we built 9 MW wind power plant VE Alibunar I, connected it to the 20 kV distribution network and transmitted the first MWh of produced electrical energy to the grid. Power plant annually produces from 27 to 29 GWh of electrical energy, which suffices to supply 6.000 households.

 

In 2010 we installed equipment in pumped storage hydropower plant Avče together with Japanese partners Mitsubishi Electric Corporation and Sumitomo. PSP Avče is the first pumped-storage power plant in Slovenia and first reversible pumped-storage power plant of this type in Europe.
