RUDIS carried out maintenance works on unit in HPP Plave 2
In July 2020, Rudis signed a contract for implementation of maintenance works on Unit of hydro power plant Plave 2 with the Employer SENG d.o.o.
Maintenance works on generator and turbine was carried out in August and September 2020. Revision of excitation system was performed at the same time.
Power plant was put back in operation in the first half of September.
Hydro power plant Plave 2 was constructed in 2002 on the basis of findings about more efficient exploitation of available water potential, which dictated the unification of installed flow at 180 m3/s of the overall chain of power plants on the Soča river. Power plant alongside its older power plant HPP Plave 1, HPP Ajba and pumping hydro power plant Avče exploits accumulation reservoir for the Ajba dam.
Installed power of HPP Plave 2 amounts to 20MW and can generate 116.000MWh of electric energy per year.
